7b on a trip to Malta
Vivien Yang and Hannah Bach, 7b
On June 19th, our class travelled to the Maltese archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea. There we spent seven days filled with joy as well as excitement and had the opportunity to learn a lot of new things, not only about the language, but also about the culture. We lived with host families, which did not bring the satisfaction we had expected, but still, it was an experience of cultural and traditional differences and knowledge about the daily live in Malta. Part of our language project were the lessons in the ESE language-school, in which we had native speakers helping us to improve our English talking skills. In the afternoons, we spent a lot of time visiting several famous destinations, like the Blue Grotto, the capital city Valletta or Gozo, in accompany of a tour guide. The free time in the evening could be used to have dinner with the host parents or to do other leisure activities.
