4a goes Malta - Sunday, March 23rd
On Sunday, March 23rd, we flew to the beautiful island of Malta together with our teachers, Mrs. Aleksa and Mrs. Rothkappl. For six days we stayed with host families, which gave us a wonderful opportunity to experience Maltese culture firsthand.
From Monday to Thursday, we attended the ESE language school, where we had three English lessons each day. In the afternoons, we went on various excursions — we visited the national aquarium, explored the historic cities of Valletta and Mdina and went bowling one day.
In the evenings, we had free time to stroll through the town or meet up with friends. One evening we enjoyed a pizza & pasta night in a restaurant in St. Julian’s. Friday, our last full day, was a real highlight: We took a day trip to the island of Gozo and experienced its stunning landscapes.
Saturday started very early for us - at 2 a.m., we had to catch our shuttle to the airport. While we were excited to return home to our families, we also felt a little sad to leave Malta behind. We created so many unforgettable memories during this trip.
Finally, we would like to thank Mrs. Rothkappl for planning and organizing this trip - it truly was an amazing experience!
